My chosen medium is pastel. Pastels are a dry medium, sort of like chalks, that come in all colors of the rainbow in the lightest of lights and the darkest of darks. Using heavy, high quality and archival sanded paper, it is possible to work in a variety of sizes, including on a large scale. Works in pastel are framed under glass. Pastel paintings have a very vibrant quality, and if properly cared for, last for generations.
